Randy A. Rachor is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner. He joined ACM&I in October of 2002 through the purchase of a local accounting firm and was admitted as a partner January 1, 2007.
His tax and consulting experience includes corporate and individual tax planning and preparation, including multi-state and consolidated tax returns, and not-for-profits. He has diversified experience in several industries, including construction, real estate, insurance, auto sales and various service entities. Having worked as a Controller for a local firm, Randy also has experience in the private sector. Randy has also branched out into the commercial real estate sector as a landlord of several properties, which has assisted in consulting clients with various aspects of real estate holdings and financing.
As a Certified Financial Planner, Randy assists clients with various planning opportunities including retirement, college, insurance, investment, estate and income tax planning. He is also licensed in Life and Health insurance, and long-term care.
Randy graduated cum laude from Mount Saint Mary’s College with a B.S. degree in accounting in 1992, attained his designation as a Certified Public Accountant in 1994 and the designation as a Certified Financial Planner in 2005.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. His previous community involvements include being the past Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Hagerstown Charitable Foundation and serving on the boards for The Humane Society of Washington County, the Mason-Dixon Council of Boy Scouts and the National Little League. He currently serves on the board of the Community Foundation of Washington County, MD.
In 2015, Randy was awarded Hagerstown Magazine’s 2015 HOT LIST 1st place winner for best CPA in our area.
